Subj: RSX-20F Error Messages


     Attached is a list of error codes and what they mean that are returned
     by  the device handlers and file control primitives of RSX-20F.  These
     error codes are global so that an error code from PIP of  -33  is  the
     same as a error code of -33 from SAV.

     These error codes are the same as the codes returned in RSX-11M.   For
     more  information  concerning  them  see  the  manual  IAS/RSX-11  I/O
     Operations Reference Manual.  Some of the error codes in the table are
     not implemented since some functionality was removed from RSX-11M when
     RSX-20F was created.
