1.0  GENERAL INFORMATION

     Decnet-20 V2.1 is a Maintenance Release for  DECsystems
2020/2040/2060.  This particular distribution kit is for the
2020 running Release 4 of TOPS20 only and as such  does  not
contain  a  number  of  features dependent on Release 5.  In
particular, the SETHOST program  is  not  included  since  it
depends on changes to TTYSRV to run.  This Tape replaces the
DECnet-20 V2 Distribution Tape that was originally used when
TOPS-20 V4 was installed.



2.0  BEWARE ITEMS

2.1  CLOSE Problem.

     The exec 'CLOSE' command  does  not  close  an  aborted
DECnet link, however, the exec 'PUSH' command does close the
link.


2.3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the Installation Instructions listed in PS:<DECNET>DECNET.DOC.
before installing this software on your system.
