    ANTE (A Nother Text Editor) is a character-oriented text editor that

combines  features from the TENEX and TOPS-10 versions of TECO with some

new capabilities.  The major new features are:   automatic  V  (or  0TT)

after   most   commands,   word-oriented   commands,   multiple  editing

environments (editable q-registers), goto-less block-structured  macros,

and  two-pass  command  processing (syntax validation before execution).

ANTE runs identically under TOPS-10, TENEX, and TOPS-20.
