Abstract
MICOM is a program to control a MICOM port contention system
which is connected to one or more DECSYSTEM-20 mainframes. The
program allows interactive or automatic loading of port selector
commands from a terminal or a file on a DEC-20. The program can
download an entire configuration file after a power failure, or can
automatically change welcome messages at stated times of day.
MICOM was written to control a Micro600 Port Selector,
manufactured by Micom Systems, Inc. The only hardware needed is a
TTY line between a port on a DEC-20 and the MICOM command port.
