			RELEASE 2A CHANGES

     1 INTRODUCTION

TRAFFIC-20 was introduced in May 1977 for use on the DECSYSTEM-20.
The product included both screen formatting routines (TFR, TFRCOB,
TFRTRM, TFRUNV) and data routing routines (IP20). A second release of
TRAFFIC-20 was issued in December, 1978 in order to:

          1. Make the TRAFFIC routines work with COBOL V12.

          2. Add functionality which has been suggested by several
              customers.

          3. Correct problems.

Now a Maintenance release to Version 2 is being made to provide
a clean product to the field. The purpose of this release is
not new functionality, but to achieve these goals:

	  1. To take advantage of new TOPS-20 release 4 features

	  2. To avoid a KS processor microcode bug

	  3. To correct problems

A history of the new patches is in the .DOC file.
