NIP provides information about DECnet on the local system. To run
NIP type:
@NIP [wild-node-specification]
NIP first lists the accessible nodes which match the node specification. If
the node specification is not provided all nodes are listed. Then if the
user has enabled wheel or operator privileges NIP lists the status of all
local lines. Following the line list is the current network status
(contents of SYSTEM:DECNET.STATUS) and the date it was last updated.
Example:
